The Kirtonkhola is an inland river in the southwestern region of Bangladesh. The river originates from the Arial Khan River in Charbaria Union of Sadar Upazila of Barisal District and flows into the Sugandha River in Nalchiti Municipality of Nalchiti Upazila of Jhalakathi District. The river has flow throughout the year and is used by small and large boats. During the rainy season, water overflows its banks and flows into the floodplain. The river is subject to tidal influence. The river is a first-class navigation route designated by the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority.
